Tucker Carlson is now teasing a potentially explosive interview with a man purporting to be Barack Obama's homosexual lover when the former president was a state senator in Illinois.

During an appearance on "The Adam Carolla Show," Carlson dug up the case of Larry Sinclair, who was ridiculed by many in the national news media after allegations he smoked crack cocaine and had sex with Obama in 1999.

"In 2008, it became really clear that Barack Obama had been having sex with men and smoking crack," Carlson began.

"A guy came forward, Larry Sinclair, and said 'I'll sign an affidavit' and he did, 'I'll do a lie detector' and he did," Carlson added. "'I smoked crack with Barack Obama and had sex with him.' Well, that was obviously true."

"Nobody reported it not because they were squeamish about sex or drugs but because the Obama campaign said anyone who reports on this gets no access to the Obama campaign," he said. "So, they didn't report on it."

When Carolla asked if Carlson believed the allegations actually transpired, Tucker responded: "The Larry Sinclair story? That definitely happened. Oh, for sure. I talked to Larry Sinclair about it. Definitely it happened."

"Larry Sinclair has been in and out of prison 40 years ago, he's got a criminal record by definition and he's poor, he's got a disordered life, he's missing a tooth.

"I think he has a record of deception but this story, if you listen to it in detail, is clearly true."

Carlson added: "It's not going to change the world that Barack Obama likes dudes, I think this was well-known."

"The amount of lying in the media about it was unbelievable.

"This happens all the time up and down government."

It was not immediately clear when Carlson's interview with Sinclair would be broadcast.

In a 2018 commentary by WND columnist Jack Cashill, the author of "Unmasking Obama," Cashill recounted the sordid details between Sinclair and Obama:

As the story goes, and he told it very convincingly, Sinclair came to Chicago in November 1999 to attend his godson's graduation.

He asked his limo driver, name provided, if he could recommend someone with whom he could "socialize" while in Chicago.

The driver recommended Obama by name. When Obama showed up, he introduced himself as "Barack Obama."

Together they smoked crack and Sinclair performed fellatio on Obama. The next day Obama showed up at Sinclair's hotel, and they repeated the ritual.

Sinclair first became aware of Obama's political career when he gave his keynote speech at the Democratic Convention in 2004. Sinclair was living in Mexico at the time.

In September 2007, according to Sinclair, he contacted the Obama campaign with the request that Obama tell the truth about his use of drugs.

At the time, Obama, then a candidate for president, was telling the media he did not use drugs after college.

Some time later Sinclair received a call from a "Mr. Young" who allegedly worked with the Obama campaign. Young wanted to know if Sinclair had told his story of sex and drugs to anyone in the media.

The nature of the call surprised Sinclair in that he had not mentioned the sex part of his get-together with Obama.

In a second contact that October, Young claimed he was "personally involved" with Obama and wanted to make sure Sinclair had not talked to the media.

In a third contact in early December, according to Sinclair, Young confessed that he was just milking Sinclair for details about his rendezvous with Obama and that Obama had no plan to correct the record on his drug use.

On Dec. 24, 2007, Chicago's ABC station reported that the choir director at Rev. Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ, Donald Young, was found shot to death.

Sinclair believed that this was the same "Mr. Young" who contacted him. As WND reported in 2012, Young was openly gay, and many in the Trinity United community, including Young's mother, believe Young was murdered to protect Obama's reputation.

Of course, none of this interested either the mainstream media or the respectable conservative media.

Earlier this month, WND reported on Barack's brother Malik Obama's assertion that Barack is homosexual.

"This guy must be gay," he tweeted, referring to Barack's public support for keeping pornographic books in libraries.

It also emerged that Barack Obama wrote in a letter to his ex-girlfriend, saying over 40 years ago that he "make[s] love to men daily, but in the imagination," according to the New York Post.

"In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life," Obama wrote to Alex McNear, according to the Post. "You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination."

"My mind is androgynous to a great extent and I hope to make it more so until I can think in terms of people, not women as opposed to men. But, in returning to the body, I see that I have been made a man, and physically in life, I choose to accept that contingency," Barack's letter says.

Rising Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy stirred up a controversy for himself recently by talking about cutting American aid to Israel, the only democracy in its part of the world and a strong ally to America.

Now he's updating, or clarifying, or reversing, depending on political persuasion.

It is the Washington Free Beacon that reports he says funding to Israel should continue until Jerusalem "tells the U.S. that it no longer needs the aid."

He was "facing backlash," the report explained because the statement is different from his challenge earlier this month that "come 2028, that additional aid won't be necessary."

The U.S. now sends Israel about $3 billion annually, most of which is spent in the U.S. defense industry.

After the earlier statement, he took criticism from pro-Israel leaders and Nikki Haley, who also is seeking the GOP nomination for president.

She charged he was "completely wrong to call for ending America's special bond with Israel."

He responded to Haley, also an Indian-American, "Keep lying, Nimarata Randhawa."

The report explained Haley’s maiden name was Randhawa prior to her marriage to Michael Haley in 1996. Her first name is Nimarata, although she goes by her middle name Nikki.

Ramaswamy's campaign also said he would want to "partner with Israel to ensure that Iran never acquires nuclear capabilities."

His comments about ending aid came in an interview with the Free Beacon when he said aid could be cut off when the current spending plan adopted by Congress expires in 2028.

He said the aid would not be needed because his intent would be to negotiate new peace treaties involving Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia and Oman right away.

"If we’re successful, the true mark of success for the U.S., and for Israel, will be to get to a 2028 where Israel is so strongly standing on its own two feet, integrated into the economic and security infrastructure of the rest of the Middle East, that it will not require and be dependent on that same level of historical aid or commitment from the U.S.," said Ramaswamy.

Weeks ago, he said the U.S. could roll back military aid if it's part of a "broader disengagement" in the Middle East issues.

The report said the "fact-check" on Ramaswamy's website was changed this week to affirm he wouldn't "cut aid to Israel until Israel tells the U.S. that it no longer needs the aid."

The West has been in decline for decades, possibly longer, depending on the metric.

President Donald Trump, according to Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary, the leader of one of the more conservative, Christian nations around the globe today.

In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Orban argued that Donald Trump is the man who can save the Western world and that he "had the greatest foreign policy he has seen over the past several decades from any United States president," according to a report in the National Pulse.

The report noted, "The endorsement from yet another leading populist-nationalist figure on the world stage is likely to deal a hammer blow to Trump’s presidential contenders, with 'Mr. Brexit' Nigel Farage having offered his support to the 45th president in May."

"You can criticize him for many reasons I understand all the discussions, but you know the best foreign policy of the recent several decades belonged to him. He did not initiate any new war, he treated nicely the North Koreans and Russia, and even the Chinese. He delivered the policy which was the best one for [the] Middle East, Abraham Accords: So that was a very good foreign policy," Orban said.

"He’s criticized that he’s not educated enough to understand the world, this into the case… if he would’ve been the president at the moment of the Russian invasion… it would be not possible… So Trump is the man who can save the Western world and probably the human beings in the globe as well,” Orban added.

Orban also warned that the world is on the precipice of a World War III, which likely would be nuclear, because of the clash between Russia and Ukraine which developed when Joe Biden took office.

A blog posting explained he fears, "We are living in a very dangerous moment. So the third world war could be knocking on our door. We have to be very, very careful.”

He added, "If any Western country would send boots on the ground, that would mean a direct war between the West and Russia. And we are in a third world war, immediately. So, it's a very dangerous moment now."

(TIMES OF ISRAEL) -- Archaeologists recently unearthed two unique structures used for an unclear purpose during the First Temple period 2,800 years ago in Jerusalem’s Old City, the Israel Antiquities Authority said Wednesday.

The installations, dating to around the 9th century BCE and found at the City of David archaeological site, were likely an important part of the economy, due to their proximity to the royal palace and temple, the IAA stated.

Researchers have struggled to pinpoint their precise use since no site of its kind has ever been found in Israel.

Democrats are staking their hopes for the coming elections on the idea of killing the unborn.

It's because they are spending tens of millions of dollars on new and negative ads that sling mud at pro-life Republicans, according to a new report from the Washington Stand.

"The Biden-Harris campaign debuted a 60-second ad, titled 'These Guys,' after the first Republican presidential debate, held at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum arena last Wednesday," the report said. "The ad states 'the last people who should be involved' in making pro-life decisions are 'these guys' — omitting any reference to former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, whose campaign revolves heavily around the fact that she is a female."

It highlights the pro-life efforts of Republicans, including the heartbeat law signed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a presidential candidate.

In the ad, which Democrats believe will trigger Democrats, DeSantis states, "I believe in a culture of life."

"Our second Catholic president continues to make clear that he sacrifices Catholic teaching at the altar of abortion," Tommy Valentine of CatholicVote told the Stand.

"This is not some sort of good faith disagreement — he holds our Catholic values in contempt and there is no excuse for it."

In fact, while claiming to be a faithful Catholic, Biden stands openly in defiance of church teachings on abortion.

The Democrats' campaign also cites Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., promising to sign pro-life legislation.

According to the report, the new $25 million ad campaign will target voters in seven swing states, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, in trying to convince voters they should elect Democrats so unborn babies can be aborted without limits.

The Stand noted Rep. Ralph Norman, R.S., said in a Washington Watch interview that abortion is being used as a campaign talking point because Joe Biden "has no record to run on."

In fact, Biden does have a record, but it's all negative. His family is under investigation for corruption in taking millions of dollars from foreigners, he's allowed inflation rocketing to more than 9%, hurting families, let gasoline prices explode, facilitated record-breaking numbers of illegal aliens crossing America's borders and ordered the "disastrous" withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan that left innocent Americans in the hands of terrorists.

In fact, Biden's two major campaigns as president have been to promote abortion, and to promote transgenderism.

Biden, during the 2022 elections, claimed abortion is "healthcare" when it in fact is a "medical procedure" that is intended to guarantee one of every two patients dies.

Biden is seeking another term with long shadows, as polling shows that 54% of Americans disapprove of his performance.

The Stand explained that even 60% of Democrats said abortions should not take place after 15 weeks.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, of the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, said the campaign is another effort by Democrats to "distract" voters from their own extremist positions.

Democrats, in fact, have promoted abortion up until birth, and in one case, a prominent Democrat said it could be allowed even after birth.

Hollywood star James Woods is sounding the alarm about the desire of global powers to keep the world's populace in extreme captivity, saying, "They want you in chains. Not visible, but in chains."

In a message posted on X Wednesday, the actor specified examples of invisible shackles to keep people in bondage.

"Electric cars, that can be traced and turned off by them. Electric heat, electronic currency, traceable phones, 'cookies,' medical 'passports,' masks."

Woods was commenting on a brief video he shared listing the so-called reasons and excuses given by government authorities and leftists for draconian lockdowns and restrictions related to the COVID pandemic.

The video displays a short statements that the public was told about the coronavirus restrictions:

Under Gov. Gavin Newsom, California has enacted policies endorsing “transgender” identity over the broad concerns of critics who claim the policies threaten parental rights, fairness in women’s sports, and the long-term health of children. Those critics have launched a new strategy to counter the gender ideology policies by going directly to the voters of the state.

Protect Kids California, a coalition of parental rights advocates and others who oppose gender ideology, filed three ballot initiatives Monday for the November 2024 ballot, aiming to circumvent the Golden State’s Legislature. The ballot measures require schools to notify parents if their children claim to identify as transgender, prevent biological males from entering women’s spaces and sports, and forbid medical professionals from putting kids on experimental drugs or performing surgery on them to “affirm” a gender identity opposite their biological sex.

“We have legislators and institutions taking advantage of vulnerable children and busy parents,” Jonathan Zachreson, a member of the Roseville City School Board and spokesman for Protect Kids California, told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Tuesday. “It’s going to take parents, grandparents, and concerned citizens from all over to stand up to protect kids from these harmful practices.”

“We have a Legislature that does not represent the people very well,” added Zachreson, a parental rights advocate who founded Reopen California Schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. “The best polling that’s out there suggests that these initiatives would pass in California overwhelmingly.”

He cited numerous polls suggesting that more than 60% of California voters support schools notifying parents if their kids are questioning their gender identity, oppose biological males competing in women’s sports, and support restricting “sex-change” surgeries and drugs to patients over 18.

The Protect Kids California leader said transgender policies “are quietly being passed by the Legislature, and people are not sure what’s going on.”

He noted that transgender advocates are “basically saying that parents are a danger to their kid.” They lament that “transgender kids are bullied at school, yet we’re going to keep that secret from parents? No one cares more about their kids than parents do.”

“They’re acting like parents are the enemy,” Zachreson noted. “It’s scary that that’s their state of mind.”

In September 2022, Newsom signed SB 107, a bill declaring the Golden State a “trans refuge state” and empowering California courts to reassign custody of children who flee to California from other states seeking experimental medical interventions often euphemistically referred to as “gender-affirming care.”

The California Senate is also currently considering AB 957, which would make parents who refuse to “affirm” their child’s preferred gender identity liable for child abuse.

The state’s education code explicitly allows students to access sex-segregated school programs and facilities “consistent with his or her gender identity.”

The three ballot initiatives would change some of these policies.

Protecting Children

The “Protect Children from Reproductive Harm Act” would bar health care providers from prescribing experimental drugs to or performing surgeries on minors to make their bodies resemble those of the opposite sex.

“It is in the interest of the people of California to protect the reproductive, sexual health, and bodily integrity of children as they grow into adults, including their natural ability to function sexually, reproduce, and breastfeed,” the ballot initiative states.

It notes that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not approved the use of the medical interventions for gender dysphoria in minors and that countries like the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Finland no longer recommend such interventions on children.

The initiative defines biological sex as male or female, determined by whether an individual’s body is developed for the production of sperm or eggs. It defines “sex-reassignment prescriptions or procedures” as any intervention aimed at “affirming a child’s perceived gender identity if that perception is inconsistent with the child’s biological sex.”

While the initiative would prevent most “sex-reassignment” procedures, it allows key exceptions for minors with “a medically verifiable genetic disorder of sexual development” and it would allow a minor who previously underwent such procedures to reverse those effects. It also allows children who already started sex-reassignment procedures before Jan. 1, 2025, to continue those procedures.

Violation of this law would be considered unprofessional conduct and would subject a health care provider to discipline.

Protect Kids California cited a national Harvard-Harris poll finding that 78% of Americans say “surgery to change gender and puberty blockers” should only be allowed for people over 18 years old. Protect Kids California weighted the poll to fit California’s party affiliation, finding that 64% of California voters (including 48% of the state’s Democrats) would likely support restricting sex-reassignment procedures to adults.

Upholding Parental Rights

The “School Transparency and Partnership Act” would require public schools to notify parents and legal guardians within three days if a student asks the school to treat him or her as a gender identity that differs from the student’s biological sex listed on the student’s record.

“It’s absurd that they [schools] want to keep parents out of the know on such important things that are going on with their children,” Zachreson told The Daily Signal.

“In order for parents or legal guardians to make the best decisions possible with respect to their children, schools must keep parents fully informed about all matters that are important to a parent and the wellbeing of a student, including the child’s mental health and social and psychological development,” the initiative declares. It notes that the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld parental rights as a “fundamental liberty interest” protected by the 14th Amendment.

The initiative would require parental notification if a student asks for a change in name or pronouns, if a student asks to join sex-segregated programs or use sex-segregated facilities for a gender opposite his or her biological sex, if a student asks for gender accommodations at school-related activities, and if a student has access to “any type of body-modification clothing or materials” such as breast binders.

Al Muratsuchi, the Democratic chair of the California State Assembly Education Committee, refused to grant a hearing to AB 1314, another bill that would require this kind of parental notification. Muratsuchi said the hearing “would potentially provide a forum for increasingly hateful rhetoric targeting LGBTQ youth.”

Protect Kids California cited a June Rasmussen Reports poll finding that 68% of California voters support schools notifying parents if their child claims to identify as transgender. Even 65% of Democrats said they support parental notification.

Safety and Athletic Fairness

The “Protect Girls’ Sports and Spaces Act” aims to maintain fairness in girls’ and women’s sports by preventing biological men from competing in them and to protect the privacy and safety of California women and men by ensuring that sex-segregated facilities do not allow members of the opposite sex to enter.

“There are physical differences between the sexes, giving male athletes a physical competitive advantage against female athletes,” the initiative states. “Having sex-segregated private spaces at education institutions, such as locker rooms and bathrooms, is an important, historical measure to protect the privacy and safety of students.”

The initiative would repeal the section of the Golden State’s education code opening school athletics and facilities to members of the opposite sex based on gender identity. It defines male and female according to body development for the production of sperm or eggs, usually associated with male or female gonads and XY or XX chromosomes.

Protect Kids California cited a May 2023 Gallup poll finding that 69% of Americans say that athletes who identify as a gender opposite their sex should “only be allowed to play on sports teams that match their birth gender.” The group weighted the poll to fit Californians’ party affiliation, finding that 64% of Californians (including 48% of Democrats) would likely support restricting women’s sports to women.

Ballot Initiative Pitfalls

While the ballot initiatives do represent an opportunity for California voters to resolve these issues outside the Legislature, they may also present pitfalls.

Protect Kids California needs 546,651 certified signatures from registered California voters per initiative, and the measures require a majority of votes to pass on the November 2024 ballot.

Once the measures receive enough signatures to make the ballot, California’s Democratic attorney general, Rob Bonta, will draft a title and summary for the initiatives. Bonta will likely oppose the measures. In fact, he filed a lawsuit Monday against the Chino Valley Unified School District, aiming to block a parental notification measure.

Zachreson expressed confidence that the measures will succeed even if Bonta gives them an unflattering title and summary, however.

He noted that then-Attorney General Xavier Becerra wrote a favorable title and summary for Proposition 16 in 2020, an initiative to repeal part of the Golden State’s constitution to allow race-based policies supporters call “affirmative action.” Voters overwhelmingly rejected the measure, however, voting 57% against it.

“It was a very easy-to-understand issue,” Zachreson noted. “No amount of putting lipstick on the pig would make that initiative look better.”

The parental rights advocate said his own initiatives are simple enough that Bonta will have the same problem Becerra faced in 2020.

“I think by keeping it simple and that voters overwhelmingly support it in polling today, I don’t expect that to be a huge issue,” Zachreson said.

Even if the ballot measures succeed, it seems unlikely Bonta will defend them if challenged in court.

Although Proposition 8, the ballot measure defining marriage as between one man and one woman, passed in California in November 2008, the state’s governor and attorney general refused to defend the law when it faced a challenge in federal court. In June 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled, 5-4, that proponents of a ballot initiative like Proposition 8 lack standing to appeal a ruling against their initiative in a federal court.

Zachreson noted that each ballot initiative has two provisions to address this.

“One, we say the attorney general has to defend it, but if the attorney general refuses to defend it, then proponents can defend it, and we would be reimbursed by the attorney general for the cost of defending it,” he said.

He also noted that laws protecting minors from experimental medical interventions currently face court challenges across the country. By the time the California initiatives pass, the court challenges will have likely resolved.

“We are confident that these and laws passed in other states will be upheld by the courts,” Zachreson explained.

While the parental rights advocate expressed optimism, he also stressed that the initiatives are “going to take efforts from a lot of people.” He urged Californians to sign up on the Protect Kids California website, and he asked for donations.

“Anybody across the country can contribute to help make this happen,” he said. “As goes California, so goes the nation. This is really an opportunity for us to change the trajectory and direction on this issue.”

The U.S. House of Representatives has begun looking into how Joe Biden sold "the Brand," while he was vice president for Barack Obama.

Already revealed by the investigation House member are pursuing is that the Biden family apparently took in tens of millions of dollars in recent years, likely for providing no product or service other than access to Joe Biden.

Also uncovered was an FBI report of a source who charged that Joe and Hunter Biden each got $5 million bribes.

Now Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the chief of the House Oversight Committee, and Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., a member, have written to the National Archives and Records Administration seeking full access to Air Force Two records when Joe Biden was VP for Obama.

It cites reporting that revealed Hunter Biden traveled with his father to more than 15 foreign countries on the taxpayer-funded aircraft reserved for the vice president.

There also has been testimony from Hunter Biden's former business associate, Devon Archer, who reported the trips included meetings with Hunter Biden's business associates.

"Then-Vice President Joe Biden abused Air Force Two by allowing his son to jet set around the world to sell 'The Brand' to enrich the Biden family," Comer charged. "This is yet another example of then-Vice President Biden abusing his public office for his family’s financial gain. There must be accountability for this abuse of taxpayer-funded resources."

This committee, and others, have been investigating Joe Biden since this Congress launched.

"While they have proven that Joe Biden’s family members received millions from foreign entities and that Joe Biden, while he was vice president, met in person with several of his son’s business associates and spoke on speaker phone with them at least 20 times over the span of a decade with his associates, there has been no proof that Biden himself profited from these interactions or his families foreign business dealings," the report explained.

There has been evidence, however, that among Hunter Biden's business deals was a reference to 10% for the "big guy" that was to be held by Hunter Biden for the time being.

Also, there's evidence that Joe and Hunter Biden shared access to some banking services.

There's also evidence, from Archer, that Joe Biden's telephone calls to his son's business associates didn't reference business directly, but did help Hunter Biden sell "The Biden Brand."

The report explained, "The evidence also shows that Biden interacted with Hunter Biden’s business associates and that his family received money from Chinese companies, which contradicts Biden’s past statements."

Donalds, in a statement, cited the House efforts to follow the money, do meticulous interviews and uncover corruption to charge, "“The walls are closing in on the Biden Family due to consistent and diligent efforts by House Republicans."

According to the Washington Examiner, the request for information specifically includes all documents and communications from the office of the president regarding Hunter Biden and Archer, as well as other former business associates Eric Schwerin and Jeffrey Cooper "relate to Air Force Two or Marine Two travel."

They also want manifests from Air Force Two for any time a Biden family member was included, as well as reports of security incidents on the aircraft.

The House soon could be taking up an impeachment inquiry, according to Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., who said that could begin as early as next month.

A school district in Colorado Springs where officials had booted a student from class for having a Gadsden flag patch on his backpack has surrendered.

Officials at the Vanguard school there have confirmed they "have informed the student's family that he may attend school with the Gadsden flag patch on his backpack."

WND had reported only a day earlier the school had booted 12-year-old Jaiden Rodriguez from class.

The reason? His backpack had a patch with the image of the Gadsden flag, the famed "Don't Tread on Me" image used against the British during America's war for freedom.

Rodriguez's mother had accused the school of "one-sided" censorship.

Meet 12yo Jaiden who was kicked out of class yesterday in Colorado Springs for having a Gadsden flag patch, which the school claims has "origins with slavery."

The school's director said via email that the patch was "disruptive to the classroom environment."

WND had reported a staff member at the school claimed the flag is "disruptive to the classroom environment," because, she claimed inaccurately, it has "origins with slavery."

Jaiden's mother then corrected her, pointing out that it originated during the American Revolution as a symbol of the 13 colonies fight against Britain, and had nothing to do with slavery.

A video showed the school staffer stating, "So the reason that they do not want the flag – the reason we do not want the flag displayed – is due to its origins with slavery, and slave trade."

The mother, surprised, said, "The Gadsden Flag?"

Yes, the school official indicated: "The ‘Don’t Tread on Me.’"

The school official was demanding in that, "The bag can’t go back [to class] if it’s got the patch on it, cause we can’t have that in and around other kids."

When Jaiden's mother pointed out the actual history of the flag, and suggested the school official was making a mistake, referencing the Confederate flag, the school official backtracked, and then claimed it was a district policy.

"I am here to enforce the policy that was provided by the district and definitely, you have every right not to agree with it."

The mother and her son then challenged the school over the fact other patches, with other political viewpoints, were not being censored.

After the confrontation, Libertas Institute President Connor Boyack obtained images of the email correspondence between school director Jeff Yocum and Jaiden’s mother.

Yocum also claimed the flag's connection to slavery, citing "reports from mainstream news outlets which linked the Gadsden Flag to racism because it was created by a slaveowner and associated with other displays of intolerance."

His evidence was that claim was made by a graphic designer in Iowa, and in a Washington Post article that documented a Postal Service employee's allegation a coworker with a Gadsden Flag hat was racial discrimination.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a far-left activist for LGBTQ ideology and abortion, joined the conversation to defend the student, admitting the flag "is a proud symbol of the American revolution."

"The Gadsden flag is a proud symbol of the American Revolution and an iconic warning to Britain or any government not to violate the liberties of Americans," Polis wrote Tuesday. "It appears on popular American medallions and challenge coins through today and Ben Franklin also adopted it to symbolize the union of the 13 colonies."

And a commentary on Twitchy cited the school's action and said, "No, we're not making that up and yes, this school is really really really stupid."

But it pointed that Polis didn't actually do anything to resolve the issue.

"God forbid he actually DO something," the commentary said. "We all know he doesn't want to tick off the teacher's union/association."

Ballard's concerns are confirmed by Tara Lee Rodas, a Health and Human Services whistleblower who recently testified before Congress that under Joe Biden, "THE U.S. GOVERNMENT HAS BECOME THE MIDDLEMAN IN A LARGE-SCALE, MULTI-BILLION-DOLLAR CHILD TRAFFICKING OPERATION."

China‘s economy, the world’s second largest after America’s, is struggling months after the communist regime ended its stringent zero-COVID policy.

“China’s economic success was largely down to its size and the speed of its abundant inexpensive labor to produce,” Andrew Hale, senior policy analyst in trade policy at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal in an email. (The Daily Signal is Heritage’s multimedia news organization.)

“This rapid growth was also built on massive debt and a growing labor market,” Hale said of China’s economy.

Hale listed factors that he said “have festered and contributed to rapid Chinese economic decline,” including “a shrinking labor force” and “massive youth unemployment.”

Hale also noted that

the U.S. and other countries have restricted the transfer of technology (China has so far lost the chip war with the U.S. and sanctions have had an effect), the property market bubble has truly burst, … and the [Chinese Communist Party] has prioritized a return to hardline socialist ideology and global saber-rattling/military expansion over economic growth.

Peter St Onge, research fellow in Heritage’s Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies, weighed in on why Americans should care about China’s economy.

“For the average American, the main impact is even cheaper exports (Chinese taking losses to move product) and possible contagion to the U.S. financial sector, which could put stress on U.S. banks,” St Onge told The Daily Signal in an email.

“A lot of U.S. big business is also exposed, though that’s not regular Americans’ problem beyond the impact on share prices of those China-exposed businesses,” St Onge added.

EJ Antoni, research fellow in regional economics at The Heritage Foundation, had his own take on why Americans should care about China’s struggling economy.

“China’s communist government has been preceding the Biden administration in its drastic interventions in the national economy, fueled by unprecedented levels of government spending,” Antoni told The Daily Signal in an email.

“Americans should be concerned about the outcomes in China because they are a forewarning to America,” Antoni said, specifying the Chinese Communist Party:

If we continue down this unsustainable path of ever-growing government spending, we will find ourselves in precisely the same mess the CCP has created in its own country.

Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo is meeting with U.S. business leaders and senior Chinese officials this week in China. The trip follows earlier ones by Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, climate czar John Kerry, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Raimondo’s visit to China, which concludes Wednesday, “is, sadly, another distraction from the fact that President Joe Biden seems beholden to the [Chinese Communist Party],” Antoni said.

“Whether it’s refusing to investigate the origins of COVID, allowing for the theft of American intellectual property, or surrendering the manufacturing sector, Mr. Biden seems intent on putting the interests of the CCP before his own constituents,” Antoni said.

As for the long-term implications for both the U.S. and global economy should China’s economy continue to decline, Antoni said that “China’s decline matter less to the average American than our own economy does because our destiny is in our own hands.”

“Free-market policies are what ultimately allow wealth creation at home, regardless of what is done abroad,” the economist said.
